Tyler Perry to the Rescue!!

65 children are going to Disney World thanks to Tyler Perry, who would like to turn an ugly memory into an unforgettable good time.
According to CNN, Tyler Perry, famous producer and writer of the television show House of Payne, also the star in the movies with his character Madea and others, heard the news about the Valley Swim Club in Philadelphia cancelling the contract giving pool privileges to the children from the Creative Steps day-care center. The entertainer’s publicist, Keleigh Thomas, said that, “He [Perry] wanted to do something nice for them and let them know that for every negative experience, there are people out there who want them to succeed regardless of the color of their skin."
Tyler Perry wrote on his website about his reaction to the news, “I said I have to do something for these children. I can't let them think that they are inferior because of the color of their skin.” Also, he said, "This is awful, and for anyone that has grown up in the inner-city, you know that one small act of kindness can change your life."
As was widely reported, the swim club revoked the contracts allowing children from the Creative Steps day-care center to use the pool after a visit in June 29th. Apparently, black and Hispanic children overheard white members of the club asking why “black children were there” and saying “they might steal from us.” The Valley Swim Club returned the center's $1,950 dollars check.
The swim club director John Duesler said that two other day-care centers’ contracts were also revoked because of safety and crowding, none of which have expressed protests regarding the cancellation. However, he also spoke with two television stations and said that the children had changed “the complexion” and “atmosphere” of the club. Unsurprisingly, protesters gathered around the facility, and eventually Valley Swim Club asked the day-care to return. Creative Steps refused the offer and replied it will sue the club instead.
In this case, the act of kindness that makes a big difference will be a trip to Disney World and a Disney water park for 65 children, courtesy of Tyler Perry.

INDUSTRY, Calif. — A 40-year-old woman has been found dead in a machine at a Southern California food processing plant that is a major supplier for McDonald's restaurants.
Los Angeles County sheriff's detectives say the woman's body was found early Tuesday at Golden State Foods in the City of Industry. Investigators believe her death was accidental.
No other details were given about her death or about the woman except that she was an employee.
The Irvine-based company has distribution centers across the nation. Its Web site says the company supplies McDonald's and developed the sauce for the restaurant's Big Mac in the 1960s.

Has anyone seen WALL-E? It's a cartoon movie but that's right where we are headed if we don't change. There are real simple things that we all can do that can lessen the effect AND save us money at the same time. I know some of you liked that saving money statement right?
- If you're going to the corner store...WALK! We've become so lazy. You get a little exercise and save gas (which has become higher recently)
- I live in a neighborhood where we have to buy our trash bags. $7.50 for 5 large trash bags or 10 small. I hate spending money! So when I go to the grocery story I get paper bags at the check out. I place my paper in the brown bags and my glass/plastic/steel in a separate container.
- I can add more but this is the last and I think the most important...STOP HAVING KIDS YOU CAN'T AFFORD!! Case in point... I know someone who doesn't have a job, apartment too small, and her man (hell I don't know what he does) is having a 2nd kid. I mean really, just cause you want to have a baby doesn't mean that you should. This whole country is running out of money and you want taxpayers to carry you? Fuck that give me my money back. We should have an option of whether we should give our hard earned money to people like this. *deep breath*
We need to stop acting like we live in the years after the dinosaur age when there was probably 25 people on the planet.

Everyone is being affected by this..
I'm at risk for losing my job. I know there are millions out there who have already lost their job and some who are in the same boat with me. I work for the state... we get plenty of benefits which is great but when the budget is short it's our jobs who are first on the chopping block... I have a few choices... go back to school, look for more employment, or move to another state. Now if I go back to school that means I'm going to be shelling out money that I need to survive and what are the odds that I'm going to find a job in the sector that I just trained for. I'm telling y'all I need to start selling crack or become a pimp.
Is Marriage Over?
I was at home and thinking about the fantasies of marriage. I took a book from the shelf that I had recently read, "If Singleness Is a Gift, What's the Return Policy?" I also pulled my Bible out just to be comforted by some words. Comfort is not what I received however...just more questions. I read Luke 20:34-36 which states,
"And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:
But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:
Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection."
I read the side notes and is states that marriage is to replenish the earth. So (I know you're following my thought pattern here) that unavoidable question popped in my head; "If the purpose of marriage is to replenish the earth and to keep the human race going, WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF MARRIAGE TODAY? There are currently 6.773 billion people running, crawling, having sex, praising a God, doing ridiculous asinine things all over this earth. And if you get married and you're not "replenishing the earth" are you committing fornication?
I know you may think that these are simple questions but this is the argument of homosexuals getting married. I don't care if homosexuals get married, good luck to them 50% of marriages end in divorce in America anyway. I do not believe that they should raise kids together. No matter how flamboyant a man is he cannot teach a child the same things a woman can and no matter how butch a woman acts there are certain things she cannot teach a child.
What some people keep forgetting that we are living in a completely different age. There are a multitude of religious, non-religious, and cultural beliefs clashing. The majority of people in this country are confused and they are being led by people who are out for their own personal agenda. Wake up and have your own opinion, stop living in a fantasy. They want to get married to be happy and get their benefits lol And on the religious tip...straighten out your own heart and get your affairs in order because only you have to answer to God or to whomever/whatever you believe in.

Spiritual Warfare P.1
The great question; When is crazy a true form of mental illness and when is crazy spiritual?I know many people today don't believe in a God and they certainly don't believe in Satan/Devil. But let me tell you when you've experienced certain things you have no choice but to believe. Case in point... I used to go to church faithfully...the only young woman there saved and devoted to God. There was another young woman there also. She was smart, by the appearance loved God (because you can't know a person's heart) and at the beginning, a very nice person to talk to. One night while at the church's cafe I overheard her and a minister speaking. He warned her to stop going to multiple churches. Warned her that if she continues to church hop and not settle down she's going to pick up a multitude of spirits [that wasn't of God.] She took this warning lightly, laughed and giggled at this idea that she could possibly be overcome by anything other than the power of God. She still continued to church hop, come back to our local church and something about her changed...something about her wasn't right each time she came back for a visit. One night she asked me and my mother if she could spend the night because she had no other place to go. We felt that we were fulfilling our Christian duty by allowing her a place to rest and food to eat. Boy was that a scary night (LoL) She didn't sleep, she said a whole bunch of crazy stuff.. we sure did pray over ourselves that night!
She continued to become worse and worse.. soon she was having outbursts in church, became unkempt, and it became very uncomfortable for me to be around her. To me it felt like her soul was at unrest. After a while we didn't see her anymore. I asked about her but no one knew. One day I was reading the newspaper and she was being charged with kidnapping. I felt so sorry for her. Felt as if I didn't pray enough for her, maybe I could have reached out more.. and she just became such a sad case. Needless to say she's had multiple stays at a mental institution.
I can't begin to tell you how much she has changed. Her violent screams and her psychotic outbursts are frightening. When she sees me she becomes angry, her words become sadistic. And I wonder what is it that I have done to deserve this response from her. We were never friends to begin with just cordial towards one another. Is it the God in me that angers her? Is it the fact that I haven't fallen into the same pit that she has? Or is she just truly nuts and suffer from a true mental illness. But her warning from the minister always rings clear in my ear every time I hear her name or see her. If she never visited other churches and opened herself up to all kinds of spirits that people call "God" would she still be the person she was before she became a prisoner trapped in her own mind. So many questions.. so few answers.

Black In America. 2. I know I know
I know that there are going to be many African American families and many others watching this CNN Special that airs on July 22nd. This disappoints me in so many ways. Why are our struggles broadcasted? Don't we already see that inside & outside our homes, in music video's (lol), in schools? Do you or I need that thrown in our face continually? And did the geniuses of CNN forget what type of country America is? The majority of people are out for themselves..and that includes Black Americans. We're not a tribe/clan that's going to come together and fix our problems within and without. Black Americans did try to come together before CNN, remember? And our leaders were killed... enough of that lol
To me it is all about the individual person. Whatever race you may happen to be. Take care of your family. That is where it begins; home. TAKE CARE OF YOUR KIDS!!!! Be responsible for what they watch, listen, eat, and what type of people are involved in their lives. There are not enough good parents out there. CNN needs to do a special on teaching people who want to have kids or already have kids how to be parents then I will watch it.
So (Black) Americans.. we're doing well.. there are things we need to work on individually and with our families. We already know what to do we just need to stop being lazy..yes, I am including myself in this sentence.
PCOS is a BITCH!
I don't have that much to write at this moment cause I'm just starting out. So please be patient I assure you that there is a lot of crazy and entertaining thoughts in this mind. At this moment my rant is about PCOS.. Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. A lot of women have this syndrome and don't know it. I was just diagnosed 1-2 years ago but more than likely have had it since I was 15. If I don't take care of this I can suffer from heart problems, diabetes, obesity...cancer... pretty much the shit that will kill me you know? So I have to cut out EVERYTHING that tastes good and eat nasty ass salads... I hate salads... they're evil!!!
